OPERATION "SCORCHED EARTH"

On 3rd October, the NATO forces primarily aided by US Forces, landed at Nogovo Island to secure the Island against possible Russian invasion and assaults due to its strategic importance in aiding our invasions in Saint Kapaulio, Tanoa and United Saharani. The American 29th Infantry Division, along with nine companies of U.S. Marine Corps redirected from USS Liberty assaulted the western half of the island and were successful in securing the Island and its ports and airfield.

Opposing the landings, the 31st Guards Air Assault Brigade were dispatched to retake the island from NATO's control however, due to under estimation of the air defense systems that had been setup all over the island, it resulted in a catastrophic failure. Luckily, our Stratobombers were able to bomb the Northern Side of the Island while also ensuring mines were deployed to prevent further installations of defense systems. This led us to use more conventional form of invasion.
 

You are part of the 6th Tank Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army. Your unit is tasked with securing this island securing the fortifications along the coastline and the NATO HQ located at the western airfield. The area is being defended by mixed elements of the US Armed Forces and German Bundeswehr. Our Fleet on the Norther Sea have already begun their assault to thin out their air support and to lure the NATO's Fleet towards them providing you time to make a landing on the South-eastern part of the island.

Expect Heavy Resistance. The Hostile forces are not going to give up on this island easily.

MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavy asset-only based mission. The mission will be making use of the default FK Modset. Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Russian Weaponry for the Armored Crew/Elements. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme and structure of this operation.
