18th,June, 1951

(despite taking place 6 years later, this mission uses the WW2 modest)

"Gentleman we are being called up to retake lost ground. About 18 hours ago a Sino-Korean attack hit the 2nd rangers position on the south bank of the Ryesŏng river. They gave them a hell of a fight but the Reds had them outnumbered. They had to abandon their position and pull back to the Village of Qinhai. Even with that the Chinese managed to push them to the southern bank before they managed to stop the assault. Now we, The 180s infantry regiment, have been called in to stop the bleeding. Now, brass doesn't need another headache on the peninsula, they believe that if we can't  push them back  to the other side of the river now, we may never and we will get bogged down for god knows how long. With the bloody nose that the boys from the 2nd gave them, as well as near constant fire support from the navy, the attack has stalled. Our Job is to push them back north, past our old positions and back to the river.
