The URF (United Rebel Front) have finally made a major move, Last week a joint URF and Insurrectionist force forcibly occupied a sizable portion of territory to the south-west of Barcelnova, The capital of Madrigal. this puts them within striking distance of the city which was left mostly unguarded. Our objective is to strike before they have really dug in and can mobilize a force to take the city. We have identified two centers of activity in the region, The town of Monroy and UNSC Army Outpost, Sierra Outpost.

First platoon (Yours) will be dropped from low orbit aboard the UNSC Guess Who. Second platoon will be dropped from the UNSC Barret. Both ships will remain on standby and will close in once the heavy anti air defenses are down. After those are down we can fly in resupply and light vehicles.  

The weather is on our side, a massive thunderstorm will be rolling in tonight and will last till the morning, this will cover your drop and approach.

You should attempt to maintain stealth for as long as possible, the longer they don’t know you’re there the better your chances are of taking the objectives without much trouble. They have a QRF to the west which does include armed stolen pelican dropships.

OBJECTIVES
 

PRIMARY

  1. RECAPTURE SIERRA OUTPOST

Sierra outpost was a fully stocked Army outpost, only a fraction of the garrison was able to fall back and we unable to destroy any equipment on the way out. Its likely the URF have begun to move most of the heavy gear but re taking the outpost and taking out its AA defense will allow us to bring in reinforcements and supplies.

  1. TAKE THE TOWN OF MONROY

Monroy appears to be the joint URF/INS headquarters and is likely holding the vast majority of their ground forces. Once the AA defenses are down we can bring is close air support and marines to assist.

  1. CAPTURE OR KILL URF/INS HVT’S

We have solid intel that puts two high ranking leaders of both the URF and INS forces in the area, an official kill or capture order has been issued on both targets. we are still working on confirming the intel but expect images soon.

A large variety of stolen arms, armor, and other heavy gear were stolen in the opening attack, securing what you can find will help mitigate the costs.
