If you would like to read into a guide beforehand you can use the offical guide released by the mod author team: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GkPktmwmrBR5OXrPUqc6rwRRMUCZC_n6_b6OHKI9Ogc/edit

If this is not enough you can read into official F/A-18 documents: https://info.publicintelligence.net/F18-ABCD-000.pdf (902 pages)
