  ++MISSION BRIEFING++

The moon of "Rishi" is home to an extremely important listening post for the Republic, while it is out of the way as far as the galactic war is concerned, it is sat astride a vital pathway that is one of the few routes into or out of Kamino, the home world to all clones.
Rishi is relatively small and quite, with the native population providing small but ever-present annoyances for the even smaller garrison. However, the hostile environment and the nature of there tasks keeps them on their toes. Today is unusually busy however, for starters a resupply drop fell short of it's landing point, it made landfall near an old ship wreck to the south and must be recovered. To the West lies an old base that was destroyed in a catastrophic storm, every week a patrol is dispatched to make sure it is not being scavenged from, or being used as a base for local tribes. A stock check must also be performed, including all vehicles and equipment, feel free to take what you like, but know that supplies are few and far between. Throughout all of this, measures must be taken to keep your ears open, even though the alarm signifying an unidentified ship is hard to miss, it can be drowned out if you are distracted. Communications with the outside world are patchy due to Rishi's weather, and are currently unavailable. The one surefire way to signal the all clear, is to have a permanent, single, powerful signal being beamed up to region command. If this signal drops for more than a few minutes, command will know something is up, and you will have an entire fleet descending on your position. Note that there are no other Republic forces on the moon, so if there is an emergency your best shot at calling for help is by disabling the signal by any means necessary. This is a last ditch strategy however, and is not to be used lightly. In the event of a hostile takeover, it is advised that you take every necessary precaution to ensure it's recapture as you would only get one attempt. This includes total abandonment of the base to regroup, before launching an assault of your own.

MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Clone Wars in the Star Wars Universe, this mission in particular is loosely inspired by this episode of the Clone Wars: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Rookies. It will be making use of the Arma 3 mods Star Wars Opposition, Legion Studios Base and 3AS which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Clone Wars Era/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme and structure of operations in the Clone Wars.
