Mission Briefing

Thanks to the heroic actions of our Covenant troops on Madrigal we were able to get a hold of the last piece missing for the Forerunner map.

Unfortunately, our troops are now lost on the planet, and most likely dead after Flood spores got released in the CRS Battle Cruiser and crashed on Madrigal.

The journey of our heroes has ended, and they have found their own way to salvation.

If there are any survivors left on the planet, we hope they can find a way out alive.

 

Important information for the mission - Must read

ANY FK WEAPON OR TAG RESTRICTIONS FOR VEHICLES ARE LIFTED DURING THE WHOLE MISSION

This mission is not linear and players will have to find their own way off the planet

Loadouts are set by the slot, but looting is encouraged since there will be no resupplies.

Looting and use of UNSC equipment and Vehicles is permitted for the mission.

Your Short Range radio is set by the template, and you cannot change this UNLESS you meet another squad and want to communicate. You can only change to each other's frequencies. 

Last known LR radio for communication was on frequency 69 so players are allowed to use this IF they have a LR Radio. You are not allowed to change your SR frequency to 69 or other familiar frequencies FK use to gain an advantage.

 

 

To qualify for an escape from the planet, you must exit in the following vehicles with 75% or more fuel level. To escape, just fly high and ping Zeus 

Any form of UNSC Pelican
Any form of Covenant Drop-ship
Any form of Banshee
Any form of spaceships/jets

 

If you escape, you are free to leave the server or spectate other players. 

No metagaming is allowed if you have escaped and someone is waiting for a respawn or if you are dead with someone from another squad

Respawn will be strict and on Zeus discretion

If too many have died from the same or different squads you might get soft-reset and start at another location with other people.

 

 

 

MISSION SUMMARY: 

This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Halo Game Series The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 mods Operation Trebuchet, Fire Team Zulu, Improved Melee System and others which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Halo Series based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme.

  • The improved Melee system can be configured by esc > options > controls > configure addons > WebKnight's Melee.
  • Primary Weapons with an attached bayonet can be used to bayonet enemies by use of the improved Melee system Buttstock Hit/Bayonet Charge ability.
  • To assist with some of the equipment and to take into account the settings tone Third Person will be allowed for use in these missions. 
  • Those streaming or inclined to listen should be aware that music from the Halo universe will be played throughout the mission.
  • To further play into the theme of the environment and to assist with medical treatment in mission all Players are recommended to take [1st MEU] Biofoam Canister's as a replacement to standard packing bandages. They are more effective than standard bandages and are only available in this setting. Please read carefully when adding to your inventory as other mods Biofoam options do not function as well or at all.
  • Elites or Spartans do not typically die quickly once unconscious from small arms fire best practice is to down enemy heavy infantry ensure sufficient damage and move on.
