 ++MISSION BRIEFING++

"Hart und Schnell"

Mission Summary:

July, 1944. Our defensive line has collapsed in the face of the latest Soviet attack. What was an organised fighting retreat has very nearly turned into a Rout. What's left of a Divisional Command Group is currently surrounded in Szydlow and the Soviets are pushing in hard. In the confusion; our divisional supplies were trapped there; including the fuel we need for our Panzers. 

Thus, we have no choice but to break through the Soviet lines and rescue the DCG. We have no options to resupply until we manage to reach the embattled town; and will have to rely on field repairs until we can reach our engineers. Sadly, the Schwere Abteilung have gone missing; therefore we only have 1 Tiger in support. 

Mount your charges gentlemen; if we can't break through then we'll have to write off an entire Panzer Division.

++RESTRICTIONS++

1. Only Weapons and equipment from the Iron Front, Faces of War and Operation Spearhead mods may be used within the mission.
2. Short Range Radios are prohibited (RPTR Elements Exempt).
3. Only Asset Commanders are permitted to carry Long Range Radios (including FAC Asst).
4. Night vision equipment is prohibited.
5. BFT and GPS systems will be disabled/prohibited (RPTR Elements Exempt)..
6. Only PLTHQ, Squad Leads and Team Leads are permitted whistles.
7. Weapon list is in effect; see below.

1. The improved Melee system can be configured by esc > options > controls > configure addons > WebKnight's Melee.
2. Propaganda and other potentially sensitive material may be shown in mission associated with the time period and governments depicted.
3. Primary Weapons with an attached bayonet can be used to bayonet enemies by use of the improved Melee system Buttstock Hit/Bayonet Charge ability.
4. To assist medics with the lower carry capacity of the equipment present within these missions squads are encouraged to carry increased Medical Fluid EG: Saline.
5. Weapons or equipment listed as Pending... are currently left out per the time period depicted in mission. As the campaign progresses more equipment will be introduced.
6. To assist players in adapting to a setting where short range radios are restricted and to help Squad Leads manage their elements the following is recommended reading.
