Does one of you know how to use explosives?" - Unnamed NMPD Officer August 3rd, 2552 With nearly half of the PDF ground forces and UNSC Marine Corps on Reach being deployed directly to Viery Territory; defences around the remaining population centers is spread dangerously thin. The New *Arcadia?* Police Department has been on full mobilization for 96 hours following confirmed stories of Covenant Presence on Reach leaking to the public. We're on full damage control mode now people. More troops are arriving in system with each passing day; but it takes a long time to disembark a full Expeditionary Force from orbit; and we're not expecting notifiable numbers of reinforcements for the next 6 hours. Covenant raiding forces keep breaching the perimeter in Viery and are reaching further and further out. We've been warned there might be a raid inbound to our city as we speak. We have hope the automated air defences will hold the majority back but we can't solely rely on them for protection. To make matters worse, we have a situation in the city center. Camp Marne, the controversial ONI detention facility is in the middle of a mass prison riot. The prison guards have either been eliminated or have hunkered down and the local ONI office is refusing to deploy personnel to contain the riot. Once again, it falls to SWAT to clean up everyone else's mess. Get your teams prepared and deploy as soon as you're able. Be wary of potential covenant raids. Infantry engaging or expected to engage Elites or Spartans during operations are suggested to bring a decent amount of (HV, AP or Slug Ammunition) and to aim for the head. Slot reservations open on the 13th at 4:00 PM est (Main Mission End Time). This is a new concept I am trying to give everyone the chance to view the event before slot reservations begin. Slot Reservations close on the 19th at 11:59est. No reservations made before the specified time will be accepted. -
