EVENT SUMMARY:

This will be heavily themed event based taking place in the highly acclaimed Real Tim Strategy game Stellaris, in which players will seek to guide their own nations on the path Galactic Exploration, Discovery, Commerce, Diplomacy and Conquest. This event may be a one-off or a repeated affair, depending on interest. However, to prevent some of the typical issues with Stellaris multiplayer  games, there will be some guidelines for behavior in the event to assist with the flow of events. These are not intended to force a particular outcome or victor in the game's conclusion, and if anyone has a suggestion for additional rulings, please feel free to make suggestions in the comments.

Player: @Deltabacon

  • Empire Name: Pybran Interstellar Social Hierarchy (PISH)
  • Species Name: Pybran
  • Species: Arthropoid
  • Origin: Subterranean
  • Ethics: Hive Mind

  • Notes: Emerging from test tubes several hundred years ago with an appetite for propagating the species, the Pybrans stumbled upon the scientific writings of the creatures that had uplifted them and put them in stasis eons ago that were long gone. The hive mind eventually broke out to the surface of the planet but it was a bit chilly and rainy (Think Stoke or Grimsby of a mid-winter's night) so they stayed underground in vast, cavernous subterranean cities which they quickly adapted to their own use.

One day, a unit of the hive mind which had been rendered semi-autonomous fell off the bathtub, smacked his head on the sink and learned the secret of the flux capacitor - the key to FTL travel. The hivemind made a decision.

It was time for PISH to spread across the stars.

    --

Biologically, the Pybrans are essentially massive bugs, but they've taken the unconventional decision of conversing with other, non-hive-mind species through teaching all of their envoys fluent Mancunian. 'Alright der our mate!' being their favourite greeting. Unfortunately, as they haven't yet left their home system, they've only managed to speak to a livestock species of furry mammals on the surface of their planet, with whom both conversations and relations have been disappointingly brief.

  • Empire Name: Hezen Corrective
  • Species Name: Hezen
  • Species: Robot
  • Origin: Resource Consolidation
  • Ethics: Hive Mind
  • Notes: Silicon entity dedicated to scientific research and overall expansion, desiring space enough to flourish and grow its knowledge base. An enigmatic entity that cares not whether organic life exists so long as it does not interfere in research opportunities. It is unknown whom created this entity, as its planet was wholly converted to a machine complex.

Player: @Spartan_MiniMe

  • Empire Name: Silicron Collective Conciousness
  • Species Name: Silicron
  • Species: Robot
  • Origin: Shattered Ring
  • Ethics: Gestault Conciousness
  • Notes: An enigmatic collection of networked machines, the Silicron collective arose out of the central science directorate research assistance subsystem of a now forgotten stellar empire. Their creators lived and died for the technological advancement of their species, a trait which the Silicrons seem to have inherited. No cost is too great for the advancement of their technology, a goal the conciousness refers to as the "Machine God". The conciousness is primarily housed on a partially-destroyed ring world. Initial surveys showed that parts of the ring still maintained massive power generation and life support, though further surveys were deemed impossible after survey crews were engaged by defensive machines from the collective.

establish trade networks, and uncover the secrets of the universe. The EITC became the embodiment of the Briish spirit—a fusion of their underground tenacity and their newfound hunger for commercial success.

You got it however no more changes to the nation will be allowed so I suggest keeping pregame play to a minimum.
