The story is fictional and shows the reality in no way

A few words before the beginning: This campaign will keep on going for a while if everything goes as planned. From the start of the first mission (2018-05-21) until the end of the last one (placeholder for end date) my profile is to be considered to be the way of contact as of agent behind enemy lines, so form the start until the end, all my forum posts may hold little clues, riddles or codes, which can lead to little small ops, new missions or just story elements to be revealed. In this post I'll document the outcomes and consequences of the missions. Hope you all enjoy. So as for the base Lore:

The Grand offensive

2020-05-05 (yyyy-mm-dd)

The Kurdish forces opened a new factory on the mainland of the island Panthera. They started producing better equipment and vehicles, as well as reinforcing their island and setting up force on the northern border. With this maneuver they broke the peace pact made a few years prior in 2011 after a humiliating defeat from the Russians.

2020-06-13 (yyyy-mm-dd)

The Russian forces decided to take the valuable of territory found in Panthera and planned out an offensive to get a stable FOB for their upcoming war and for that purpose they picked the island next to the mainland in the south-western side.

The infantry and assets are ready the carrier is anchored now they are waiting for the order to begin which is scheduled to arrive on the 14th at 0700am.

During The first mostly successful push, one of our man downloaded various intel the enemy forces forgot to clean up.

The high US presence in the AO is not answered yet, we might get something out of the letters we captured, negotiations are ongoing

As for the cleanup there is already a smaller 25 man specops operation in the plans as we do not see a bigger operation needed.

FOB has been set up, well done people.

(Link to the first mission, outcome stated there as well)

Negotiations with the Americans lead to nowhere, they didn't give us any reasoning but they are not pulling their forces out of the island, this means that we are in war with them as well now. We are still cracking the code but we suspect to find answers in it.

Intel has been decoded. For anyone who is interested, the dropbox link contained a .zip file with two, password protected .pdf files. The process of getting the password involved decoding the string given alongside the dropbox link. At first I thought it was hexadecimal, but in the end it actually ended up being a variant of a hash encoding. Decoding that string gave the password:

Pko13Z7CO0K

So, upon using this password, the .pdf files show the following:

supply101.pdf

trade.pdf

In conclusion, it seems as though the forces on Panthera are trading their own raw materials with the U.S. in exchange for quite a considerable arsenal of armored vehicles, which would explain why negotiations with the U.S. have broken down also.

I'm just gonna say this also right now, whoever ends up being a platoon lead in any future operations, take these into account, as last time PltHQ neglected the details that were decoded and it lead to us rushing directly into many enemy MG nests on the shore.
