WW1 mission using Runners instead of Radiomen.

  1. 1. For the sake of gameplay would you like to see Runners or Radiomen in a WW1 trench mission?

So I am making a mission where the platoon is fighting in the trenches. I am tempted to have HQ and the infantry use runners to send messages back and forth, but for the tanks and field guns have a radio operator each.

There are for and against using runners among the infantry but from the WW2 missions that we have done even having radiomen nearly has the same drawbacks as information doesn't always get passed down the line or gets skewed in the transfer, the one drawback with runners is if they get knocked down or killed then the squads or HQ don't get that information (as opposed to a radioman stays near his squad) and it could slow up the mission more than usual and FK seems to fall apart without radios never mind not having BFT/GPS. Though from a historical or RP point it would be interesting to see/use
