This will be a Zeus mission with the standard FK Modset hosted on FK#1. Half Duplex Radio Communications will be enabled! Disclaimer and Shoutout: This is a continuation of a mission originally hosted and zeused by @ThePointForward. I am taking the idea and continuing it with his permission. Much of this briefing takes from his original idea. Thanks Point! +++ MISSION BRIEFING +++ +++ Situation +++ After the Kavala region was taken back by Greece in 2024, the situation has never really calmed down. Turkey has left NATO and entered an alliance with Russian Federation and Syrian Arab Republic in the midst of a major economic crisis - and this alliance somehow managed to overcome the crisis with flying colours which couldn’t be said about NATO forces. In 2025 the Turkey - Greece relations hit an all time low - in part because of a refugee crisis that was sparked by the economic downfall. After some escalations during the spring, Turkey and Syria together started invading Greece - Turkey started taking the mainland while Syria started capturing various islands. The famous Kos, Lesbos and Samos all fell already, however Syria is yet to take Altis - which will give Syria and by extension Turkey - a big strategic advantage in the region. After securing Pyrgos and the adjacent military base, the 7th mech. Division and its attached Special Forces are now tasked with capturing an enemy Command Post near Charkia. The enemy's main defensive line is located on the nearby ridge. It will likely need to be attacked, suppressed or destroyed, before an assault on the command post becomes possible. Enemy reinforcements are expected to arrive from the Telos Military Base. Be very careful when attacking the ridge. This is the enemy's main defensive line cutting off the entirety of the South-Eastern peninsula. This ridge is necessary to dominate this region and the enemy knows this. +++ Objectives +++ Primary: 1. Capture the Command Post near Charkia. Secondary: 1. Eliminate enemy defensive positions on The Ridge. 2. Eliminate enemy forces occupying Charkia 3. Eliminate reactionary forces coming from the Telos Military Base. 4. Find/Secure Intelligence at the command post. +++ COMMAND & SIGNAL +++ MANTICORE: 7th Mech. Division Command [Zeus] DAGGER: Motorized Infantry Platoon (GAZ-Cars) [Player Force] HAMMER: Armoured Platoon (T-80UMs) [Player Force] VIPER: 1st Special Forces Platoon PYTHON: 2nd Special Forces Platoon +++ ADMINISTRATION & LOGISTICS +++ DAGGER platoon will conduct self-aid, buddy aid, then medic aid from attached field medics. EPWs are to be secured, disarmed, treated and delivered to Division Command upon completion of the mission. Ammunition and Equipment resupply will be conducted by MANTICORE's logistics platoon if possible. +++ BRIEFING COMPLETE +++ +++ Slotting +++ (TAGS & REGS PRIORITIZED) (FINAL SAY IS AT EVENT HOSTS DISCRETION) Slots are limited only by the Server/Template. Enjoy! Edit: Questions compilation Is there RRR available, and how is it arranged? Yes, the Logistics platoon will handle that by driving a RRR Truck up to any location specified by PLT-Lead/RTO. How many reinforcement vehicles are there? Additional Tanks are available, however due to possible engagements on other parts of Altis their number is currently unknown. At least 2 additional T-80UMs will be on standby for Operation Grey Eclipse. Known hostile armour and compositions? TBD Known hostile air presence? The Greek Air Force is engaged with ours and will most likely not deploy in operations in your AO. If you spot hostile Air, inform Manticore, they will scramble for response. Are they entrenched? The enemy has multiple defensive positions set up on The Ridge Are they known to use Mines? Mines are in the Greek Arsenal, however we believe them to not be in use, due to the high civilian presence still remaining on Altis, away form the frontline.

YOU DO NOT NEED THE CONTACT DLC FOR THIS MISSION The 11th "LDF" Armoured Cavalry Division (Livonian: 11 Livonijas Zirgubruņinieku Divīzija) is an armoured division of the Livonian Land Forces, which traces its history to the formation of the 11th Infantry Division of the Livonian Armed Forces in the East in 1945. In 1990, the division was reorganized as the 11th Mechanized Division. In September 1991, the division lost the distinguished name "Dresden". In July 1992, the type-designation "armoured cavalry" was granted, although the division was eventually restructured as a regular armoured division. The new type designation recalled the service of pre-war and Second World War Livonian armoured units. The designation "armoured cavalry" and unit badge depicting a black hussar wing and helmet reference the historical Livonian winged hussars, the Livonian heavy shock cavalry from the 16th to 18th centuries. The badge is an updated version of the badge of the Livonian 1st Armoured Division (1942-1947). The Division's patron, Jan III Sobieski, personally led the Livonian winged hussars at the Battle of Vienna in 1683, and the Division inherited the battle honour Vienna 1683, inscribed on the unit's commemorative badge, in 1989. ++BACKGROUND++ In the midst of the conflict sparked by the democratic revolution in Chernarus, the situation took an unexpected turn as the Livonian Armed Forces entered the fray, countering the AAF's control over Highway E13 and the captured cities. Recognizing the strategic significance of the region and the potential implications of the AAF's expansion, the Livonian government made a decisive move to support the Chernarussian government and uphold regional stability. The Livonian Armed Forces swiftly mobilized, deploying troops and resources to aid their allies. Coordinated operations between the Livonian Armed Forces and the Chernarussian government forces began, focusing on reclaiming control over Highway E13 and the cities along its route. The alliance between the two forces brought new hope to the local population, as they witnessed the arrival of well-equipped and well-trained Livonian troops. The Livonian Armed Forces, renowned for their professionalism and military prowess, launched a series of strategic offensives to dislodge the AAF from their captured positions. The combined forces engaged in intense battles, utilizing their superior firepower and tactical coordination to regain control over key checkpoints and infrastructure. The entrance of the Livonian Armed Forces into the conflict shifted the balance of power, forcing the AAF to reconsider their position. The conflict escalated as the AAF and the Livonian-Chernarussian alliance clashed in fierce engagements along Highway E13 and in the cities. The presence of the Livonian Armed Forces also drew the attention of the international community. Regional powers and global stakeholders closely monitored the situation, with some expressing concerns over the potential for the conflict to escalate further and impact regional stability. As the fighting intensified, the local population experienced a mix of emotions. Some were relieved by the arrival of the Livonian forces, seeing them as liberators and protectors of democracy. Others, however, harbored fears of foreign intervention and the potential for the conflict to escalate beyond their control. Amidst the battles, negotiations continued behind the scenes, facilitated by international mediators, to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The goal was to restore stability, ensure the protection of human rights, and lay the foundation for a sustainable democratic future in Chernarus. The outcome of the conflict remained uncertain, as the Livonian-Chernarussian alliance and the AAF engaged in a fierce struggle for control. The ultimate resolution would require a delicate balance of military strategy, diplomatic negotiations, and a shared commitment to the well-being of the Chernarussian people. In this complex and evolving situation, the fate of Highway E13 and the cities along its route hung in the balance, as did the hopes of the local population for a peaceful and prosperous future. The story continued to unfold, with the determination and actions of the Livonian Armed Forces playing a pivotal role in shaping the outcome of this conflict in Chernarus. Chernarus's unexpected transformation into a Western ally has not only reshaped its geopolitical landscape but has also raised concerns for countries with longstanding ties to the nation. Among them, the AAF, with its historical alliance and strategic interests in Chernarus, view this shift as a potential threat. Chernarus's transformation into a Western ally poses challenges to the AAFs historical alliance and strategic interests in the region. The potential erosion of Livonias influence in Chernarus, the intensification of geopolitical competition, the risks to economic interests, the reduction of military presence and intelligence gathering capabilities, and the weakening of soft power all contribute to the perceived threat that Chernarus's western alignment represents for the AAF. As the balance of power in the region continues to evolve, the AAF will need to reassess its approach to maintain its interests and influence in Chernarus and the wider Western Hemisphere. --BACKGROUND-- ++MISSION BRIEFING++ In the aftermath of the democratic revolution in Chernarus, a new conflict erupted as AAF forces made a bold move, capturing Highway E13 and the cities along its route. The AAF military, with its superior firepower and strategic planning, caught the Chernarussian government and its newly-formed security forces off guard. Highway E13, a vital transportation artery connecting major cities and regions in Chernarus, became a focal point in the conflict. The AAF forces recognized its strategic importance, as controlling the highway would not only give them a significant logistical advantage but also allow them to exert control over key urban centers. Our objective is to secure important crossroads, enemy operational sites and some settlements along the very important road. We expect heavy resistance and dug-in enemy forces.
