There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:
- Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
- Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
- Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.
If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

Topics covered in this training will include:
Basic maneuvers Basic Take-offs and landings Flight speed and altitude management Basic communication and command hierarchy Emergency procedures theory RSVP Regulars have priority, FNG's may be able to join if there are not enough Regs+.
It's planned to last 1 (one) hour. If stuff is getting in the way (or the attendees want to train a specific part more in depth) it will last longer.
Please make sure you are at least somewhat familiar with the mouse / keyboard (or joystick) layout of flying a helicopter.
Taking part in this training DOES NOT give you any priority during slotting.

Overview
The training will cover basic stuff and the aim is to prepare new people to take part in FK missions.
Topics I will cover:
How to join and making sure you can join our servers Slotting procedure and what happens before we get out of the spawn area ACE Arsenal ACE Interaction ACE Medical Short Range radio LAT intro Rangefinding (if time allows) I will also have a loadout prepared for you guys that contains all the basic items you need as a BLUFOR rifleman. Once you have that you can always fall back to it, change visuals of uniform/vest/helmet and add stuff you might need (LAT, NVGs, backpack with XYZ, ...).
The idea is that you'll be able to immediately put the training to good use in following mission (either 1st main or parallel running "FNG" mission).
How to join
RSVP here and be at "General Training" room on TS at the time of this event. Times in calendar are automatically adjusted to your timezone, but just to make sure, the event will be happening at 1800 CET - 2 hours before the main mission.
I'd appreciate if you already read through at the very least rules and installed your TFAR plugin to TS (if you have any issues try to come a bit earlier so we can sort it out). You're expected to have all the mods downloaded via Steam.
If you do not have the IP and Password for the server don't worry, you'll be given that before we join the server.

And here are some thread I'd recommend to go through. Only mandatory are the rules of course, but all of them contain useful information. I will cover the necessary info in the training session.
Rules on how to behave in an Arma mission:
Basic training guide, slightly outdated in some aspects (but even outdated parts are very similar now):
In depth guide to TFAR - basics will be explained, still good read:

Official categories of weapons for FK:
