    The Battle for Altis

Backstory You are currently deployed within Altis as part of the 41st Infantry Company of the United States Army. For the past few months, you have been with Russian forces to bring down Altis insurgents. However, as of May 17, Russian forces are now considered hostile and forced U.S. forces to the East. Due to Russian preparation, they currently have air and naval supremacy forcing our ties to external support to be severed. Our main objective is to regain control of Altis. This will not be easy but if we manage our forces and work together, we will succeed. WESTERN SITREP MAP KEY BLUE – American Controlled RED – Russian Controlled Squares – Dominant power in control of city, town, location, etc. Dots – Represents the borders of either forces. Organization & Equipment Each Squad will be organized to contain: a Squad Leader, Grenadier (2iC), Combat Medic, an AR team, and three LAT Rifleman. Assets Ground Transport: 2x M2 HUMVEE 2x HUMVEE 1x M2 MRAP Armor: 1x Abrams Fire Support: 1x M252 Mortar Aircraft: 1x UH-60 Black Hawk 1x AH-6 Little Bird If friendly armor or aircraft are destroyed, a replacement will be provided in 3 missions. After each operation in enemy territory, all vehicles must be returned back to the starting location. If an asset is heavily damaged, you either can leave it or destroy it. Any asset abandoned within Russian controlled territory will count as a loss of the asset. Any asset left within U.S. controlled territory will be decommissioned for one mission. Any Russian equipment that is captured during an operation will be available in the future. Russian equipment will not be replaced if lost. Medical System Instant death is not enabled, advanced wounds are enabled, and respawns are only available after certain requirements. Consequences Every operation has a possibility of being larger than the original place. Command (Crossroads) will advise if there is an opportunity to go past the main objective. For example, if an assault on a town occurs and the town is captured and a Russian officer is spotted in a nearby base, Platoon can choose to ignore or deal with the officer. Each action has various possible consequences in future missions. Additionally, Platoon has the ability to abandon an operation by retreating. Reinforcements During certain occasions, friendly forces may be called to assist. If the option for friendly reinforcements is available, Platoon will be informed by Command. Be aware, if reinforcements are called, there is a cooldown depending on casualties and size of reinforcements. Missions will be added after this thread goes up. Remember, we’re what’s left defending Altis. --- PLEASE LEAVE THE THREAD CLEAR OF REPLIES SO MISSIONS WILL BE EASIER TO FOLLOW. IF YOU HAVE COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS, SEND ME A PM.

NOTE! This mission will take place after second main! Following the failure of Public Relations Operation "Friend Finder", the Canadian Princess Patricia Light Rifles company was ordered to fall back when word of a ISIS force bolstering over 4000 men were moving to wipe out any NATO force in the area of Takistan. Sadly due to the failure of Operation "Friend Finder" ISIS now had the support of the southern Villages within Takistan thus rallying and then tallying the numbers to somewhere between 4500 - 5100 manpower. During the extraction of the last squad the birds carrying the team was struck by AA fire coming from the Airfield they had abandoned the week before. Mad Goose 1-1 was the first bird to take fire. NATO high command has given a general order to all Countries in the area to assemble and mobilize a Platoon to move in and secure the downed birds and check for any survivors.
