There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:
- Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
- Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
- Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.
If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

This is a basic on gunships ... not a basics on flying. Please make sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise train beforehand or wait for the Rotarywing 101 to come around again! If we see you have no clue how to even operate the most basic stuff in a helicopters we might ask you nicely to leave. (Kick you out)
This training will happen in groups of two (one pilot + one gunner).
The birds we are mainly going to use for this training are the AH-1Z Cobra, AH-6M Littlebird, AH-64 Apache and Mi-24 Hind.
Main topics that will be covered:
The roles of a gunship Your rights and duties as a gunship crew The roles of specific crew slots. Sensors Radar RWR Infrared Visual Launch detection Weapon usage Main cannon FFAR Hellfire (Laser and Radar) ACE RHS Wireguided AA Tactics and strike theory IFF and making the right judgement on when to ask and when to shoot first (universal RoE) Example scenarios (This is where you get to do the shooty shooty thing) Emergency procedures (Same thing as in Rotarywing 101)
This training is up to everybody but regular+ get priority. If the RSVP is full come back a few hours before the training starts ... last time over a quarter of the attendees dropped out after being RSVPed. (We then just let everybody into the flight training room)
Training will be held on the second server. (Fly bois who just want to listen in and maybe learn a few new things about the ACE hellfires (but don't want to do the full training) feel free to just hop in and stay a bit in the back. Still keep in mind the template is limited to 17 people)
Btw if you got 1 hour and 45 minutes of time feel free to prepare with watching this video (keep in mind it is a bit outdated so don't take everything in it for granted)

This week is VIETNAM WEEK.
If you haven't voted yet you may do so HERE.
We will congregate on the Teamspeak at 11 PM UK time for an 11:15PM start, four hours ahead of the first main mission start so hopefully, we'll be done with both missions (probably not).
We're going to be using Rabb.it again so if you don't know how it works or don't have an account I'd suggest talking to either myself or Milly so you're not broadcasting on a webcam if you don't want to or double speaking. (Rabb.it has its own inbuilt VOIP and webcam hosting, similar to roll20 for those users skilled in that, however apart from the webcam there isn't much that Teamspeak can't do better so we'll use that for chatting. If you'd rather not hear us babbling over the entire movie you're perfectly welcome to mute yourself and converse in the chatroom instead.
Also for those who are wanting AND LEGALLY ABLE, I WILL be creating a drinking game based on the movie you are about to witness. This is clearly designed to be a more 'adult' activity but for those kiddlywinks and those more cautious, I will not be upset if you participate a non-alcoholic beverage. I do have to stay semi-sober to regulate the room so I'll only be going with some hard cider so you'll be in some company. Your safety comes first over our fun. I will be reminding you when those drink times come up throughout the film along with the reason why the drink was triggered. I must say that as your internet enabler YOU SHOULD KNOW YOUR LIMITS.
