  • There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:

    • Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
    • Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
    • Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.

    If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

    Since everyone is cooped up inside, and since the International Board Game Day is on the 29th of April, which is the worst time for it, not gonna lie, let's get together and do some board games!
    Starting with a bit of Cards Against Humanity and continuing with Tabletop Simulator (probably poker or something simple like that).
    Drinks are very much a recommended thing to have on hand! (don't drink if you're underage in your country of residence, obviously)
    If you RSVP, please try to be on time. Otherwise, everyone's invited to join in the middle of things!

    Overview
    This training is aimed at people who are new to the FK. Doesn't matter if you're brand new to Arma or you have 500 hours under your belt but no experience with the mods we use.
    Topics that will be covered:
    How to join and make sure you can successfully join our servers What happens in the Main Mission and Off-hours rooms Slotting procedure and what happens in the spawn area ACE Arsenal - how to get yourself equipment you'll need ACE Interactions ACE Medical - Basic rifleman first aid Short Range Radio LAT introduction and overpressure BLUFOR vs OPFOR assets static showcase (if time allows) Rangefinding and working with map (if time allows) I also have two loadouts prepared for you, one for BLUFOR, one for OPFOR. They're meant as basic templates you can fall back to, change uniform and be ready to play.
    The idea is that you will be able to go straight into a mission after the training and play as a rifleman.
    This training does not earn you any tags or direct progress towards a Regular rank. But it will teach you how to play with us and therefore indirectly leads to both.
    How to join
    Please RSVP here and be at "Basic Training" room on TS at given time. We will be conducting this training on server 2.
    Time in the calendar should be automatically adjusted to your own timezone, but just to make sure, this training will start at 1600 BST. Expect roughly 2 hours of time taken, the extra 20 minutes are there in case of delays and technical issues.
    You're expected to have the mods from our modset downloaded via Steam. Also please install the TFAR plugin for your TeamSpeak, if you have any issues with it, come 10 minutes earlier so we can sort it out.

    The best way of making sure you have exactly what you need is to click that "PRESET FILE" link, open your Arma 3 launcher, go to MODS section and import the file - it will auto-subscribe mods you need, start downloading them and create Mod Preset for FK. Then even if you're playing elsewhere and have hundreds of other mods you'll load only the correct ones.
    IP and password will be given to you before we join the server.

    MEDICAL TRAINING
    This event will be for regs+ wanting to get there tags after the medical update.
    The RSVP is for regs+ only, however if there are spaces available come start time anyone can join.
    In the event we will be covering all the changes that are coming with the new medical system. The event is scheduled to take 2 hours,
    however this may vary depending on how quickly we get through things. The major topics will be treating cardiac arrest, and the changes to
    morphine, as well as the recommended changes to your medical loadout. There will also be time for questions at the end if you think we missed anything.
    The event will be held on FK1, and we ask that all attendees gather in the Medial training room on TS a few minutes before start.
    the modset in use is the base FK modset
     
    As stated above the RSVP is for REGS+ only.
    attending this training does not give priority in slotting.

    -This is a priority message from UNSC High Command-
    - Following the deployment of ODSTs to the Barcelonova area, Insurrectionist activity has picked up in the Northern Continent, Virolahti. This area is less colonised than the other parts of Madrigal, and appears to be where the majority of Insurrectionist supplies are flowing from. -
    - The 4th Battalion, 17th Army Corps "Springboks" are hereby deployed and ordered to interdict Insurrectionist supply routes and material production on the northern continent to support other UNSC operations. -
    "Rangers Lead the Way"

    Operation MAJESTIC is a joint deployment interdiction force, deploying checkpoints to stop and search suspected Insurrectionist supply routes.  1st Platoon is already partial deployed to Checkpoint SCEPTRE.

    Intro
    Tensions are rising on the island of Alits, The current sitting government is increasingly under pressure from hard lining, pro military political rivals and with an increase instability due to recent terror attacks a coup is an ever present threat. NATO has been deployed on the island for the past 8 years and now due to pressure put on the sitting president, Nikos Panagopoulos, their presence has dwindled to a main base of operations and a handful of smaller patrol bases. NATO combat patrols are now no longer authorised and the forces that remain on site as a emergency response unit.
    A further briefing will be given in mission as to the current climate of the situation and any developing situations. 
    A full recap of last mission will be done during briefing.
     
    For those who do not know what milbase is to put it short its a normal fk mission with three differences:
    A) Your assets are chosen by you with the approval of your commander.
    B) Your assets must be all prepped and sent to the combat zone by your own means from your main HQ. Normally by drving or flying them there.
    C) On the day there is no real hard limit on number of assets (Unless zeus or command choose to) or who can take them (Tags wont apply). Meaning its a great experiacne to get some live fire practice in assets with a real life crew or an ai one. 
     
    All levels of skill are welcome!
    Overall it is a very relaxed fun environment, you can drop in and out of the mission where needed so long as if you do take a command role (OPCOM, BASECOM or ATC) you hand the responsiblity to someone else before you leave.
    The mission will start at 9:30pm not long after the end of 1st main and will be on FK4

    This will be a Milbase mission, however with some more structure. Some slots will be open and will have the normal slotting procedure (tags,regs+,fngs) however we go back to the free for all approach on the day for assets. I have the right to refuse a slot for any suitable reason. I also have the right to remove anyone from a slot if I deem them incompetent. Infantry where needed will be AI if there is no desire for players to be infantry or lead an AI squad. The AI infantry will then be handled by Zeus and orders passed from Opcom.
