  • There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:

    • Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
    • Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
    • Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.

    If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

    Requirements:
    Have basic knowledge about the ACE interaction system.  Be able to do to very basic math at a reasonable speed ... Either in your head, on paper or with a normal calculator. I'm talking about stuff like:  5.88 + (-104.2) = -98.32 0.7 * 8.4 = 5.88 (1 - 793.28 / 1013.25) * 100 * -4.8 ≈ -104.2 What will we teach during this event:
    Mortar crew loadout Map reading for mortar setup location. distance to target and height difference How to read rangetables Mk6 / L16 (82mm) M6 (60mm) Kestrel usage (wind, temperature, air pressure) Doing the calculations by hand with basic tools like pen, paper, calculator How to respond to the RTO calling in a firemission  How to adjust fire (RTO calls: "rounds where 200m short" or "50m long" ...) How to prepare for incoming fire missions (what can you calculate before RTO calls for the firemission) Load, aim and fire all kinds of mortars (Mk6, L16, M6, 120mm, ...) How to use "extra tools" like the MicroDagr or Vector21 to help with the calculations If we got the time some very basic drone usage. It is highly recommended reading the guide on Indirect Fire Support before attending this event. I will talk about the content of his guide from the mortar team side, but only briefly!
     
    I have planned 2 hours for the training and 1:45 hours for the evals with a 15 minute break in between so I don't lose my voice. It might take longer if issues occur.
     
    The EVAL PART is exclusive for Regs+. If you are a FNG you can only take part in the training.
    We are limiting the eval RSVP to 6 people but most of the time not everybody who RSVP'ed shows up. Feel free to just be there on time and you will most likely be able to get in.

    Be sensible, an amount of extreme fuckery (completely unnecessary or unrelated fucking around, stupid delays due to not paying attention .etc.) will get you kicked out of the training, possibly even with a ban, and maybe even a ban from further trainings.

      ++MISSION BRIEFING++

    The planet of Ryloth is currently under siege by Separatist forces, and a group of Republic and local forces have been pinned down at the end of a valley. Several CIS transports have made landfall at the other end of the valley and their forces are currently beginning to move through it towards the Republic holdout. Supplies are running low for the Republic and their allies, and although supply ships are on their way, they will not arrive for some time. A Squad of clones from the 74th Legion have been sent up the valley along with Engineer support, to set up and hold defensive positions, and hold back the separatist forces until reinforcements arrive. While some of your Engineers are capable of mine laying, they are all capable of placing basic static defenses which may prove to be useful in your defensive efforts. The enemy composition is all encompassing, with armour, artillery and heavy droids albeit in limited numbers. although the threats faced are severe, you have been equipped with as much weaponry spare, and efforts will be made to gather more supplies while you are holding the valley. The one upside to the situation is that we do have artillery support ourselves, and it can be called in at any time. Although they too are suffering from ammunition shortages, so pick your targets carefully. If defense proves to be impossible, and the holdout falls, your best bet is to either surrender or retreat into the woods and hope to meet up with resistance forces. As in this situation the rescue fleet that is on route will not be able to assist you.

It will be making use of the Arma 3 mods Star Wars Opposition, Legion Studios Base and 3AS which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Clone Wars Era/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme and structure of operations in the Clone Wars.

     As part of the ongoing campaign to secure the separatist stronghold of Mygeeto and following Supreme Chancellor Palpatine's declaration that Mygeeto is part of a "Triad of Evil", three planets which form the Separatist bastions. Along with Felucia and Saleucami, Our space forces have engaged the Separatists in orbit whilst your platoon has been landed planeside and tasked with securing a critical command station held by Sep forces and containing one of their energy transfer points on the planet. Enemy forces in the area are well fortified and have substantial reserves of battle droids to pull into the fight. To assist with this action you have been assigned a UT-AT for direct fire support and a recon ARF team to push through the enemy defences and coordinate fire.

    Backstory:
    After escaping the Bukovina and Livonia outbreaks, your team is sent to investigate reports of infection at Factory in Panthera. On arrival, you are locked in with no hope of escape. A chill runs down your spine...
    Rules/How To Play
    The game mode is an homage to the traditional wave based Call Of Duty Zombies mode. There are wall weapons, perks, secrets, music, a mystery box plus some new things not seen last time. There is no points system, so new parts of the map will open up after a certain amount of waves. Your goal is to kill Zombies, survive waves and escape.
    This is my smoothest and best Zombies mission so far. If you have played my last ones, I highly recommend coming back to see this one. I've spent 20+ hours crafting the mission and a further 10 or so bug fixing the server crash issue.
