    Operation Beacon- Part 4

Operation Beacon-Part 4 Start Time: Mid-day Weather: Cloudy ++Backstory++ After a strategically placed island in the Pacific decided to begin construction of guided AA platforms, and go directly against a treaty established between itself and the United States, the decision was made to locate the units and destroy them. Several Specops units were involved in the operation and while all the targets were eliminated successfully, the exfil did not go to plan. Due to a communications error, and damage sustained to their aircraft, the teams were forced to make their way into the jungle and come up with an alternate escape plan. During this process the teams' ever all leader became separated from the rest of the group. As the survivors carried out their plan, they discovered Intel stating that their Leader had been captured, and sent to "Camp Spring". As a result of communications issues encountered by the teams, HQ was not able to reach them and assumed the worst. Subsequently, a small scale assault was launched on the islands of Tanoa in an attempt to hamstring any potential retaliation efforts, and if possible recover the missing Specops teams. In a chance meeting on the island's main airport, the surviving team members met up with a group of U.S marines as the former were trying to steal an aircraft in which to flee, and the latter attempted to neutralize the enemies air capabilities. From that point the survivors were air lifted out to a waiting carrier, and passed on the intelligence they had gathered regarding their missing comrade. Due to the new found Intel and the apparent failure of the Marine's assault to do any real damage, the U.S withdrew it's forces and negotiations began to release the captive officer. Unfortunately the Tanoan government had viewed the U.S' withdrawal as a sign of victory on their part, and refused to release the soldier unless the U.S agreed to tear up the previous treaty, and agree to supply them with new AA systems, alongside multiple other demands. These demands were not deemed acceptable to the U.S in any way shape or form, and seeing as reports came in suggesting that the Tanoan's were starting to buy up old Soviet era equipment from various different anti-american states, there was no option other than to recover the officer by force. ++MISSION BRIEFING++ With the plan being heavily based around the Intel that is gathered by our Recon teams, the briefing can only cover so much. However, the basic principle is as follows. Your squads from the 101st Airborne, along with your support elements will drop from your respective aircraft (the picture above). You will be dropping from a height of 4000 meters, which should give you more than enough time to reach whatever landing zone you have selected. Once you have landed your are to begin your assault on Camp spring and recover our missing soldier. Roughly 20 minutes after you initial drop, groups of U.S marines will begin landing to the South East in the town if Ouméré. They will be responsible for reclaiming the U.S embassy based in the town, and more importantly they are your way out. As soon as they are able the will begin pushing up the marked route (the picture below). They will hold at the "Pickup" point, however if required they will push up to the camp itself. An important note is that some of the marines' gear, especially vehicles, are owned and operated by the enemy, so remember to check your fire. Once you have rescued our man, your task is simply to hunker down and wait for the Marines to arrive. However, if the opportunity presents itself, you are to destroy as much enemy equipment as you can. Once the Marines arrive you are to mount up in their vehicles with the officer in tow, and head back down the road towards the embassy while the Marines perform a rearguard action. Unfortunately resupply is going to be a bit of a sticking point, with the earliest delivery only being possible with the arrival of the Marines. As such, your Platoon has been equipped with everything we foresee you needing, with extra equipment being stored in boxes towards the front of your aircraft. Preserving your ammo will be important in this one, even though your Tls are carrying extra ammunition, it will only go so far. If you run out mid way through, you'll be in deep trouble. You will also be without artillery or air support for as long as we don't know where the prisoner is. Once he is in friendly hands, we may be able to arrange something. As mentioned, our understanding of the enemies capabilities is patchy, however here's what we do know. The enemy has limited rotary assets, and while they will mostly be kept at bay by our own jets, some may slip through. As for artillery, they have lots of it, with most of it ranging from mortars to medium sized howitzers. The armoured capacity is a little more known. With the higher end consisting of some of our old Patton MBTs as well as some old Soviet T-55s. Thankfully however these are believed to be in short supply, with most of their armoured units being made up of APCs and IFVs, again both Soviet and U.S in origin. While we believe a large portion of their armour lies near the Blue Pearl industrial port, any further intel regarding their military capacity in any form, is severely lacking. In particular, information on the layout of Camp Spring, your main target. Any further details on any of these subjects will have to be provided by our Recon units, and will be sent directly to your PLT Lead prior to the mission. Remember, these guys used to be on our side. They have our old equipment and we taught them how to use it. This, alongside their newly purchased Soviet equipment will make them formidable foes, and they are not to be underestimated. As such, two three man teams have been covertly deployed to the region to gather as much information about Camp Spring as they can, before transmitting it back to HQ. The camp is far from completion, however it is still believed to be heavily defended and fortified, with the camp being centered around some old WW2 era fortifications. Old Soviet equipment is also being delivered to the Blue Pearl industrial port to the north, and their stockpile seems to be growing larger by the day, so time is very much of the essence. It cannot be stressed enough just how important it is that you do not get caught during the operation, as this will inevitably lead to armoured units being moved from storage at the point, to defensive positions inside the camp. In the event that you are spotted however, you are to avoid capture AT ALL COSTS, they enemy must not know what we are planning. As for what you should be looking out for, HQ has specifically requested information on the following: Known enemy positions, strong points and weak points. Enemy weaponry, vehicles and patrols, as well as likely avenues of enemy exfil if they attempt to move the prisoner. An optimal landing zone that provides suitable protection, and finally the most obvious request, the location of the captured officer. Due to previous issues with the security of our radio channels, safety measures are still in effect. Therefor, all LR transmissions should be kept to less than 25 seconds for every 10 minutes. Simply being in the area is also a major risk. The longer you remain in the AO the higher the chance of being detected, subsequently you are being limited to 2h 30m for the operation. Once your time is up and assuming that you have not been discovered, you are to make your way into the jungle and await the signal to transmit the information that you have gathered. Zeus' Note! The information gathered in this mission will be the ONLY detailed information that the PLT will get for a 1st Main event coming up in the near future. For this reason it is recommended that you note down the grid coordinates of any major positions of interest, taking photos is also recommended.     Operation Beacon- Part 2

Operation Beacon-Part 2 Start Time: Early evening Weather: Stormy ++MISSION BRIEFING++ After the successful destruction of the enemy AA systems and the catastrophic failure of the exfil attempt, alongside the loss of their leader, the group now finds themselves running headlong into the jungle and away from death or capture. The enemy is now on full alert, and more than enough time has passed to allow their heavier assets to mobilize. The survivors end goal now, is to get the hell off of the island, however you never leave a man behind. So before they can leave they must find out what happened to their missing member and if possible rescue them, the regions Prison Facility is probably a good place to start. If all else fails they should at least find out where he is being held so a rescue attempt can be launched at a later date. They are faced with two possible exit strategies: Option 1. make for the U.S embassy. If done directly this would involve traversing difficult terrain which is swarming with alert enemy combatants, and even if they reached the embassy it would likely be surrounded by a cordon of hostile forces. A possible alternative is to make for the Fishing facility in Harcourt and steal a boat, while this would allow them to move to port near the embassy and bypass the cordon, it would mean a noticeably longer walk through enemy territory. Not to mention dodging the checkpoints on the bridge between the two islands. Although if they did make it they would be safe from reprisal, then it would be down to the politicians to sort it out. Option 2. the alternative however is if anything even more risky. It would mean assaulting the militarized main airport and trying to steal an aircraft, with no guarantee that the CIA pilot would be able to fly any of the planes available. However if they could manage it, they would be home free, after all they did just blow up the islands main AA systems. Calling for backup doesn't seem to be an option either. Crossroads isn't answering suggesting that communications off of the island have been blocked. It would seem that comms between the two squads have also been intercepted, as the enemy had been reacting to their movements very quickly in the run up the disaster. To make matters worse the Assault team was not expecting night time fighting, and as such are not equipped for it, so they might be forced to divert to the Recon Base to equip themselves The Recon base also holds general supplies. Although this would increase the chance of being found even further. Whatever option they choose it would pay to be careful and take things slowly if required, it is better to arrive late than dead. Zeus' Note! completing all objectives in one mission is not mandatory. Do what you can in the time given, and if needs be a Part 3 will be created.     Apex DLC required! Important info-read! The assault team not required to attend until 1h 15m after mission start, as they will have nothing to do, that makes it 5pm UK time. That time will be spent by the Scout team gathering intel, that will then be transmitted to the rest of the players once they join. When the rest of the players join, take your slots and go straight through. I will answer any questions that you have on the briefing, the briefing will only be in text form below. Once that has been completed the recon team will give you the intel they have gathered via LR, you will then complete your plan and begin the mission. Due to the confined spaces of the spawn area i ask that you all remain quiet and allow the Sls to communicate and plan. Operation Beacon Start Time: Early evening Weather: Stormy ++MISSION BRIEFING++ Overall: The government of the island of Tanoa has begun the construction of AA missile batteries close to the main regional airport in the region. This goes against a deal that was struck between the Tanoan government and the U.S. High command has determined that this act of aggression cannot go unpunished, and in response have dispatched 3 special forces teams to destroy the AA systems, and eliminate the General who appears to be the driving force behind this blatant act of hostility (positive identification of the target is required). The first team will gather intel on the objectives, with the two assault teams arriving via a high altitude drop from a C-130, later on. Once the objectives have been completed all three teams are to evacuate the area. It has been determined that Helicopter are not viable as our only dispatch points are too far away from your AO. Therefore your evacuation will take place via a civilian Antonov piloted by the CIA, this tactic will allow us to get within enemy airspace without raising suspicion, a landing strip for the aircraft will have been marked by the Scout team. As far as enemy contact is concerned we are expecting no enemy air power except the odd Helicopter and limited armoured elements, with the majority of the enemies presence being in the form of infantry units Assault Teams: Your parachutes for the drop are stored inside a crate towards the front of the aircraft, and once you are ready for the transmission of intel, signal to the Scout team via LR. They will have gathered intel on the targets locations as well as a suggested LZ or LZs. Once landed we advise that you do not waste any time in commencing with you tasks, as this will only lead to the arrival of more forces and may give the Officer a chance to escape the region. You have been supplied with all the equipment we believe you will need during the operation, and once it is complete you are to signal for pickup via LR, before making your way to the landing strip marked by the Scouts. Scout Team: You are tasked with gathering as much intel as you can about the situation you face, without being discovered. In particular regarding the following: Location of the Officer and the AA system(s), LZ suitability for the Assault team and a suitable point for the Antonov to land. When the main force comes online you are to transmit the intel to them via radio once they have signaled that they are ready. The main concentration of enemy forces should be within the town and surrounding construction yards, but be sure to keep an eye out for patrols at all times. After you have completed your objectives as instructed by Assault One Lead, you are to meet up with the main force and make your way to the pickup point as marked.     Siege Of Mandalore

    Siege Of Mandalore ++MISSION BRIEFING++ The Planet of Mandalore is currently in the midst of a civil war, as different factions attempt to align the planet with either the Separatists or the Republic. The Separatists have supplied the faction supporting their cause with multiple battalion size droid elements, armoured vehicles, and a small contingent of aircraft. They have completely fortified the area surrounding the capital of Madrigal, and appear to be waiting for us to make our move. Your tasking is to move out from LZ Rain, and move to capture the Sierra outpost atop hill 127. From there you should have eyes on two newly constructed fortifications that our recon units have not been able to note in any great detail. Your end goal for the operation is to position yourselves in such a way as to allow a second force to land to your west and push past your positions and into the capital. Command believes that the capture of the aforementioned positions should allow us to land the required equipment and reinforcements to do this. As mentioned, the enemy is waiting for us to make a move. However, they have not concentrated their forces in any one location, suggesting that they are not aware of our plans. This means that although contact will be almost instant, it should be limited. However the longer the operation continues, the more the enemy will be able to bring there numerical superiority to bare. For this reason, while it is not recommended that you rush into any actions, time is very much of the essence. As far is reinforcements and resupply are concerned, due to the enemy's AA inside the compounds, we believe that we will only be able to deliver enough equipment and troops to LZ Rain to maintain your starting strength, and even then we anticipate that the regularity of these deliveries will be patchy at best. We will not able to grow our presence in the region until the AA systems have been neutralized. ++BRIEFING COMPLETED++ MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Clone Wars in the Star Wars Universe. The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 mods Star Wars Opposition, Legion Studios Base and 3AS which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list. Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Clone Wars Era/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting.     Umbara ++MISSION BRIEFING++ During the invasion of the Separatist planet of Umbara a Jedi general by the name of "Pong Krell" has switched sides and joined the Separatist cause. At the time he betrayed us, he was leading Republic forces in an operation to clear out enemy forces from the region around an enemy radio station to the northeast. He swiftly wiped out three squads of clones, and has killed or severely wounded any Republic forces who have attempted to subdue him. In the chaos, enemy forces have taken the opportunity to launch a counter offensive on our positions, and any semblance of organisation among our forces has subsequently been lost, along with our regional communications relay. Republic command must be informed of this betrayal before Krell can cause any more damage to friendly forces. Your best bet to establish a link is to hijack the enemy Radio station and broadcast from there, because as it stands your long rage radios cannot penetrate the thick jungle. The surface of the region is likely to be swarming with enemy forces, not to mention Krell. With this in mind it is recommended that you make for the entrance to an underground bunker network that was recently cleared by friendly troops. While the enemy will most likely have reestablished a presence there, it will not be anything close to what they will have on the surface. Your main concern however should be Krell, while you may be the best troops in the business, your small group of survivors is no match for a Jedi. Therefore, it is recommended that you take things slowly and make any engagements as short as possible, as any prolonged or overly loud incidents are likely to draw his attention. Note that the bunker network appears to be made of a substance that interferes with our GPS equipment, as such, any readings taken while inside are not to be trusted.     Operation Track Due to recent growth in V.C activities our two regional bases are currently in the process of being combined into one base located at Camp Martin, the deconstruction of the second base was completed today and the final convoy of equipment was due to arrive at Camp Martin two hours ago. However, they have failed to arrive or report in to explain the delay. Initial aerial recon has turned up nothing so the decision has been taken to send in your squad to locate the missing convoy. You will be flown into the marked drop off point where transport will be delivered to you shortly after. The convoy's planned route is marked in blue and the heavy rain endured by the region in the last 48 hours should show any deviation taken by the convoy, you are to follow the tracks left by the convoy as they passed through, and if the tracks deviate from the planned route you are to follow them. You are equipped to deal with the recovery of dead or injured personnel and the repair of any damaged vehicles.     Operation Pike Ryloth ++MISSION BRIEFING++ The planet of Ryloth is currently under siege by Separatist forces, and a group of Republic and local forces have been pinned down at the end of a valley. Several CIS transports have made landfall at the other end of the valley and their forces are currently beginning to move through it towards the Republic holdout. Supplies are running low for the Republic and their allies, and although supply ships are on their way, they will not arrive for some time. A Squad of clones from the 74th Legion have been sent up the valley along with Engineer support, to set up and hold defensive positions, and hold back the separatist forces until reinforcements arrive. While some of your Engineers are capable of mine laying, they are all capable of placing basic static defenses which may prove to be useful in your defensive efforts. The enemy composition is all encompassing, with armour, artillery and heavy droids albeit in limited numbers. although the threats faced are severe, you have been equipped with as much weaponry spare, and efforts will be made to gather more supplies while you are holding the valley. The one upside to the situation is that we do have artillery support ourselves, and it can be called in at any time. Although they too are suffering from ammunition shortages, so pick your targets carefully. If defense proves to be impossible, and the holdout falls, your best bet is to either surrender or retreat into the woods and hope to meet up with resistance forces.     Operation Magnet ++MISSION BRIEFING++ Recently a top secret prototype ship was stolen by Separatist forces, and was taken to an unknown location somewhere in the region of Madrigal. Local resistance forces indicate that the CIS have taken copies of the ships blueprint, and that they are currently being stored on a computer system inside the Gladius Military Academy, it is reasonable to assume that the location of the ship itself is also on the system. An elite recovery team has been assembled consisting of troops from "41st Green Company". The team and their supporting Prophet element have been dropped on the coast to the west, and are tasked with sneaking into the Academy, recovering the intel, and if possible locating and destroying the ship itself, as recovery of the vessel itself is now deemed to be impossible by high command. The planet you are infiltrating is fully occupied by the Separatist alliance, and is deep inside their territory. This situation has pros and cons, because although there will be hostile activity all over the planet, due to the planets distance from the front line the concentration of enemy forces should be limited. However the possibility of heavy QRFs does still remain if you take too long after to complete your objectives after making your presence known. On that topic, it is advised that you make use of your hand to hand combat abilities, and your Prophet support wherever possible, in an effort to avoid blowing your cover until that last moment if at all. In the event of outright combat being the only available option, it is advised that you plan carefully before engaging, as soon as combat begins the CIS droid machine will begin to mobilize, and you will find your job to be increasingly difficult.     Operation Guardian Mandalore ++MISSION BRIEFING++ In an effort to improve diplomatic relations between the Mandalorian people and the Republic, a meeting was set up involving multiple politicians from both sides. During the meeting a violent rebellion erupted inside the host city, seeming to consist of Mandalorian warriors of multiple factions. Despite the best efforts of the local Security forces and a detachment of Coruscant Guards, the partially completed embassy building was overrun and lost. The rest of the Republic party have reached the southern end of the city and have begun evacuation procedures, however before the procedures can be completed certain documents must be recovered from the embassy's central computer, the only person with the pass codes for the computer currently available is the senator. A small squad of Coruscant guard have been assembled and have been equipped with riot shields in an effort to aid their progress. Your tasking is to escort the senator and his personal guard and fight your way through the city and recover the senator. Once you have arrived at the embassy, you are to recover the documents and move to a safe location of your choice for extract. We can only hope that you reach the embassy before the documents are destroyed. Due to the possibility of harming civilians and the apparent threat of anti-tank and anti-air equipment there will be no close air, or armoured support, their small arms also appear to be powerful, so a careful approach is recommended. Due to the anit-air threat your extract point will have to be outside of the city limits. The American Commander" On the morning of the 16th of December 1944 German Armed Forces was launched an attack through the densely forested Ardennes region in Belgium and Luxembourg. The offensive was intended to stop Allied use of the Belgian port of Antwerp and to split the Allied lines, allowing the Germans to encircle and destroy four Allied armies and force the Western Allies to negotiate a peace treaty in the Axis powers' favor. In order to reach Antwerp before the Allies could regroup and bring their superior air power to bear, German mechanized forces had to seize the roadways through eastern Belgium. Because all seven main roads in the densely wooded Ardennes highlands converged on Bastogne (Bastnach in German), just a few miles away from the border with neighboring Luxembourg, control of its crossroads was vital to the German attack.     Operation Valiant Da Krong District, Quang Tri, Vietnam Early this morning a H-21B Shawnee suffered engine failure close to Camp Sarge, while heading north west towards LZ Savage. Camp Sarge was abandoned several months ago, and since then V.C activity in the area has increased. Seeing as we have received no transmissions from the crew since they landed, we assume that they have been either captured or killed by hostile forces. Your troop has been selected to go and destroy the downed chopper, and recover the crew, in whatever state they may be in, note that body bags have been stored in the Huey in case they are needed. This choice was made largely due to the fact that you are the only people available, so if you get into trouble, there is no backup. We can give you limited air support in the form of a UH-1D Transport, and a OH-6A [M27] light attack helicopter. As mentioned enemy activity has increased recently, so you should expect some stiff resistance. However intel suggests that there will be no armor, and obviously no air. While there is believed to be light artillery in the area, it is expected to keep it's sights firmly on our military installations, and should be no concern to you. There are other larger scale operations taking place in the area that have fixed wing support. If you are in dire straights we may be able to call on them for aid, however due to the importance of recovering the crew, these strikes should be carefully considered. There may also be certain historic imagery that some people may find offensive IMPORTANT NOTES: Loadouts are scripted. This will be a night mission, rolling into early morning. There will be no resupply. Although the mission is scheduled to end at 23.30, it will most likely end early, but it depends on the players. Operation Chariot 28th March 1942, St Nazaire, France The Bismark is running riot. It has already sunk the pride of the Royal Navy, the Hood, and it is currently set on destroying everything between the isles, and America. For now it is out of our reach, however at some point it will have to return to German shores, to resupply and repair. There is only one port on the occupied French coast that can accommodate such a vessel, the dry dock in St Nazaire, and that is something we can hit. What's more, the government has come to you, the Commandos of the Special Operations Branch, to do it. The Royal Navy has supplied you with some old ships for you to use, they are not expecting them back, they consist of a few landing craft, and an old Destroyer, HMS Cambeltown. The plan is simple, you will charge the gate of the dock with HMS Cambeltown, and you will ram it as far into the dock gate as you can. Once contact is made with the gate, the fuses will activate, and 30 minutes after that the explosives in the hold will detonate, and the dock will be blown to smithereens (note that the fuse is not reliable, and may detonate before or after the predicted time). Make sure you are not in it's direct vicinity when it blows. While you are in the port you are also tasked with the destruction of everything that you can get your hands on, most importantly, the rail yard in the town center. There is also believed to be a German general in the area, although this is not confirmed, take as many risks as you deem safe to eliminate him. Whatever the outcome, when you feel you must, you are to extract either by boat out to sea, or inland through the woods. Reconnaissance has been performed by R.A.F aircraft, however it is limited due to the regions anit-aircraft emplacements. There are two things you must remember during the operation: 1. they are not expecting you, but the element of surprise will not last forever, so hit them hard and hit them fast. 2. This mission cannot fail. There may also be certain historic imagery that some people may find offensive The Great Raid 30th January, 1945, Philippines The Japanese military is being forced back on all fronts, and it is finally time for General Macarthur to keep his promise, and return to the Philippines. Operation Musketeer has been executed, and American forces have made good ground after the initial invasion. However, we are presented with a problem. Between us and Cabanatuan City is a prison camp, with an unknown amount of allied personnel inside. High command fears that the Japanese will execute the prisoners if we get too close. Therefore they must be rescued before this can happen, this will be your tasking. The camp itself is believed to be large, however actual intelligence on it's layout it none existent. So it is recommended that you perform recon before attempting anything. To the east is the region's main airfield, and it is believed to be housing multiple "Zero" fighters. In addition, if you are to face any QRFs they will most likely originate from there. "Bloody Ridge" is believed to hold a small artillery encampment. It may be worth your time to attempt to disable these guns before your assault on the prison, for obvious reasons. The enemy's strength in the region should be relatively minor, consisting mainly of light infantry in and around villages and fortifications. However you should expect some patrols in and around the jungle, especially on the paths. There will be stronger forces moving south through the region however. They will be heading for the front lines, and may pass you as you carry out your orders. These forces will most likely contain some armoured elements, so it is recommended that you steer clear where possible. Eisenhower Supreme Allied Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force, delivered 6 June 1944. On 6 June US forces landed at Omaha beach the primary objective was to secure a beachhead eight kilometers (5.0 miles) deep, between Port-en-Bessin and the Vire River, linking with the British landings at Gold to the east, and reaching the area of Isigny to the west to link up with VII Corps landing at Utah. The untested American 29th Infantry Division, along with nine companies of U.S. Army Rangers redirected from Pointe du Hoc, assaulted the western half of the beach. The battle-hardened 1st Infantry Division was given the eastern half. Opposing the landings was the German 352nd Infantry Division. Of its 12,020 men, 6,800 were experienced combat troops, detailed to defend a 53-kilometer (33 mi) front. The German strategy was based on defeating any seaborne assault at the water line, and the defenses were mainly deployed in strongpoints along the coast. Loadouts are scripted Start time will be around dawn The Great Escape March 1944, stalag luft III, Zagan, Poland You are not doing the war effort any good by languishing in a prison camp, and you have decided it is time to leave, by any means necessary. Tunnels "Tom", "Dick" and "Harry" are completed, and it is time to go. You are part of the second wave, and so far your activities have not been detected by the guards. Some equipment has been able to be smuggled into the camp, and has been distributed among the men. However supplies are limited, so much so that we do not have enough equipment for all of you. Therefor, once you have escaped your first port of call will be to head to a destroyed church to the north. There you will meet up with local resistance members and gather additional equipment, and most importantly, your fake passports. Given your initial dispersion it is advised that you use this as a meetup point. From there you have nothing left to do, other than to head for the Swiss border and freedom, your first obstacle will be the river crossing in the town of Topolin. Once your are past that, the hardest part will be over. On your journey you must take care with your actions. Immediately after your escape you will have surprise on your side. However the charade will not last forever. Once the game is up the Germans will come looking, both on the ground, and in the air. There may also be certain historic imagery that some people may find offensive Operation Grünpfeil Battle for Sark, July 4th 1940 France has fallen, next stop Great Britain. Plans for operation Sea Lion are well under way, and are expected to be completed by September of this year. However there is one obstacle in our way, the Channel Islands. Other units from the 216th and 319th infantry divisions have been tasked with the capture of Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney, and Herm. Your group is tasked with the capture of Sark, and most importantly, it's airfield to the west. Be advised that the luftwaffe are gearing up for Operation Eagle Attack, and will not be available to support you. Due to the constant threat of the Royal Navy, naval support will also be unavailable.
