  • There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:

    • Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions in either Prime Time. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
    • Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
    • Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.

    If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Event it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

Overview
This training is aimed at people who are new to the FK. Doesn't matter if you're brand new to Arma or you have 500 hours under your belt but no experience with the mods we use.
Topics that will be covered:
How to join and make sure you can successfully join our servers What happens in the Main Mission and Off-hours rooms Slotting procedure and what happens in the spawn area ACE Arsenal - how to get yourself equipment you'll need ACE Interactions ACE Medical - Basic rifleman first aid Short Range Radio LAT introduction and overpressure BLUFOR vs OPFOR assets static showcase (if time allows) Rangefinding and working with map (if time allows) I also have two loadouts prepared for you, one for BLUFOR, one for OPFOR. They're meant as basic templates you can fall back to, change uniform and be ready to play.
The idea is that you will be able to go straight into a mission after the training and play as a rifleman.
This training does not earn you any tags or direct progress towards a Regular rank. But it will teach you how to play with us and therefore indirectly leads to both.
How to join
Please RSVP here and be at "Basic Training" room on TS at given time. We will be conducting this training on server 2.
Time in the calendar should be automatically adjusted to your own timezone, but just to make sure, this training will start at 1500 BST. Expect roughly 2 hours of time taken, the extra 20 minutes are there in case of delays and technical issues.
You're expected to have the mods from our modset downloaded via Steam. Also please install the TFAR plugin for your TeamSpeak, if you have any issues with it, come 10 minutes earlier so we can sort it out.

The best way of making sure you have exactly what you need is to click that "PRESET FILE" link, open your Arma 3 launcher, go to MODS section and import the file - it will auto-subscribe mods you need, start downloading them and create Mod Preset for FK. Then even if you're playing elsewhere and have hundreds of other mods you'll load only the correct ones.
Makes sure you have the April 2020 Modset
IP and password will be given to you before we join the server.

OPERATION ARIES
 
INTRODUCTION:
This mission is going to be a scripted mission and will be hosted on FK#4 using the current FK modset. Anyone can reserve the slots that are marked as open. Regs+ and tagholders have priority.  

 
SITUATION:
Swedish forces are currently stationed in Chernarus to assist the local CDF troops with fighting the Chedakis.
Your platoon is currently stationed at the NW Airfield along with your air force.
There have been reports of Chedaki forces closing in on the airfield. They have damaged the radar system and set up Grad launchers in the nearby town.
Your platoon has been alerted and tasked with repelling the enemy attack.
 
OBJECTIVES:
Destroy the Grad launcher site Regain control over Novy Sobor Secure the radar station

 The United States officially entered the Second World War in December 1941 and on the 11th Of December 1941 The Axis powers in Europe declared war on the US following which the American Army began direct military assistance in North Africa on the 11th Of May 1942. 
The Italian campaign of World War II consisted of Allied and Axis operations in and around Italy, from 1943 to 1945. The Joint Allied Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) was operationally responsible for all Allied land forces in the Mediterranean theatre and it planned and led the invasion of Sicily in July 1943, followed in September by the invasion of the Italian mainland and the campaign in Italy until the surrender of the German Armed Forces in Italy in May 1945.
Shortly after midnight on 6 June, over 18,000 men of the US 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and the British 6th Airborne Division were dropped into Normandy. The divisions were part of the U.S. VII Corps and provided it with support in its mission of capturing Cherbourg as soon as possible to provide the Allies with a port of supply. The specific missions of the two airborne divisions were to block approaches into the vicinity of the amphibious landing at Utah Beach, to capture causeway exits off the beaches, and to establish crossings over the Douve River at Carentan to assist the U.S. V Corps in merging the two U.S. beachheads.

Hey!
So a few weeks ago now I made a post about possible getting some folks together to get into the newest edition of Warhammer 40k tabletop. The idea was we would all try out the Crusade which is a narritive way to play the game so its not so hard-core. It seems like a lot of fun and we are looking to launch the first season of Crusade this weekend. 
Figured the best way to start is to have a day where people could ask me questions about how to play 40k on TableTop Simulator. So here it is. I plan to be on the TS for most if not the entire time this event is scheduled to help people out.
This is by no means a requirement to play in the season. We do have a discord to make it easier to find games and to answer any technical questions. If you are interested in 40k tabletop or just want to talk about the lore or anything Games Workshop hit me up for an invite link.

Would like to have another night of playing this. It recently got an update where roles aren't confirmed when ejecting people and Innocent confirming tasks can be turned off so it will make for a very different experience 
This will start whenever first main ends for those wanting to do both (probably myself)

It's basically a murder mystery game. Innocents (Crewmates) complete tasks and try and uncover who the Traitors (Imposters) are. Crewmates win by completing all the tasks or finding who the imposters are. Imposters win by killing almost all the crewmates. 
We'll rotate through all the maps for a different experience and basically go as long as people have interest.
If we get enough for 2 big groups (8/9 per group) then we will do multiple lobbies swapping players every few games
I'll be taking a shot every time Rabit snaps my neck

So this is the starting day for the first Crusade season for Warhammer 40k. Crusade is focused on narritive game play allowing players to watch their armies grow and evolve as they fight. 
Crusade has built in features to allow new armies to be on even ground with veteran armies, so if you can't play this weekend no need to worry.
We are currently just running the vanilla system with the only change being we are using points over PL. We did this since some lists are in desperate need of updating and with releases being out of sync of each other this only compounds the imbalance.
I am calling this Season 1 because there may be changes in the future that may require us to reset everyone's lists. There is no determined length for the season so do not feel pressured to play 3 games a day.
We have a Discord that we use to find games easier and to answer any questions. It is not requires to be in this channel to participate.

MEDICAL TRAINING
This event will be for regs+ wanting to get their tags after the medical update.
The RSVP is for regs+ only, however if there are spaces available come start time anyone can join.
In the event we will be covering all the changes that are now in the new medical system. The event is scheduled to take 2 hours,
however this may vary depending on how quickly we get through things. The major topics will be treating cardiac arrest, and the changes to
morphine, as well as the recommended changes to your medical loadout. There will also be time for questions at the end if you think we missed anything.

The event will be held on FK1 (although this may change depending on server availability), and we ask that all attendees gather in the Medial training room on TS a few minutes before start.

This will take place on FK#2 from 1600 BST - 1800 BST
The aim of this is to have a slightly smaller, more serious/immersive mission for those who enjoy it. As a result, the follow constraints are in play.

1) No Respawns - Dead is Dead.
2) No Resupplies - Take only what you need
3) Markers will not be provided by Crossroads, only Grid Refs - Bar this image in the brief for visual purposes.
This will be slower paced than most people are used to, as infill and extraction are required with only a few points on contact.

Operation Balancing Act
The debriefing of the retrieved asset from Operation Linchpin took too long to yield valuable results for the local conflict in Fapovo. However intelligence gained from the asset has pointed to a rogue Russian military element will to supply men, materials and training to in conflict areas in return for certain favours. In effect this group is looking to create an area of influence for themselves. Other assets are looking in to the validity of the "rogue" nature of this element or whether more nefarious things are at work.
That being said, we have found their next area of interest. Takistan. 
Over the last few weeks, rumblings of a civil war have bore fruit and the Government has found itself fighting tribal elements and parts of the local population. Typically we would let these things resolve themselves however the aforementioned rogue element has been seen in the last few days moving men and materials into Garmsar Depot, away from the bulk of the fighting. The support looks to be for the anti-government forces and would seriously tip the scales in their favour. This must not be allowed to happen
As you can seen from the drone images, multiple pieces of armour, soft skinned vehicles as well as containers of supplies have been moved into the depot. We did not directly observe the full movement of supplies and as a result under the depots covering there may be more supplies and materials we are not aware of that need investigating and neutralising. 
Team 1 along with a Drone Asset (MQ-12 Falcon) has been inserted via HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) Jump into Ravanay (11 08), be mindful the surrounding area is in open conflict with active engagements expected to continue through the operation. These contacts are to be ignored and not investigated. The destruction of the depot and it's contents is our only concern for this operation
Primary Objectives
1) Infil via foot from Ravanay (11 08) across the mountains to Garmsar Depot (10 06).
2) Destroy any men and materials inside the depot.
3) Perform secure site exploitation and recover and further physical intelligence from Documents or Electronic devices for later use.
4) Extract the Team via a to be determined method by Overlord.

Overview
This training is aimed at people who are new to the zeusing with FK. If your interested in starting to Zeus in FK but don't have much knowledge of where to start this training is made for you.
Topics that will be covered:
Zeus selection on discord. Asset announcement and restrictions. Briefing and answering questions. Zeus Modules and object placement. Environment management. SQFs and code execution. Helpful mods and additions.  Mission Testing in editor. The idea is that you will be able to complete this training and head straight into a mission with the ability to request co-Zeus with the knowledge you need to run a basic mission.
This training does not earn you any tags. But it will teach you the basic information needed to start zeusing with FK and therefore indirectly leads towards acquiring tags.
How to join
Please RSVP here and be at "Zeus Training" room on TS at given time. We will be conducting this training on server 4.
Time in the calendar should be automatically adjusted to your timezone, but just to make sure, this training will start at 1200 EST. Expect roughly 1:30 hours taken, the extra 20 minutes are there in case of delays and technical issues.

On 6 June US forces landed at Omaha beach the primary objective was to secure a beachhead eight kilometers (5.0 miles) deep, between Port-en-Bessin and the Vire River, linking with the British landings at Gold to the east, and reaching the area of Isigny to the west to link up with VII Corps landing at Utah. The untested American 29th Infantry Division, along with nine companies of U.S. Army Rangers redirected from Pointe du Hoc, assaulted the western half of the beach. The battle-hardened 1st Infantry Division was given the eastern half.
Opposing the landings was the German 352nd Infantry Division. Of its 12,020 men, 6,800 were experienced combat troops, detailed to defend a 53-kilometer (33 mi) front. The German strategy was based on defeating any seaborne assault at the water line, and the defenses were mainly deployed in strongpoints along the coast.
Your unit is tasked with securing this sector of Omaha beach securing the fortifications along the coastline and the German HQ located near to Le Bray. The area is being defended by elements of the German 352nd Infantry Division and 439th Ost-Battalion. To assist you in these objectives the platoon has been provided with two Sherman Tanks for the landing and will have access to both Aircraft and Naval support.

Hey you mob thinking of getting the FK planetside 2 outfit going again with a bit of a platoon.
I plan to run this after first main giving everyone a bit of a break before we crack on. We will use in game comms so make sure you have the platoon and squad chat buttons set.
So I have been playing on a US server with my aussie outfit ever since the FK one got quiet so I thought I'd come back with my experience from there to get a fun but planned platoon going.
Now if we have enough people and the map is correct we can pull the FK bastion to have fun with. The bastion is a flying aircraft carrier that only the outfit can use. Otherwise we will see what people would like to play on the day and hopefully have enough fun that it becomes a more regular thing again.
Now if your new that fine we are NC on Cobalt Server. I'll make sure to poke the blokes in charge @andyt90 @Silberjojo and @SGz_Eliminated so we can invite everyone to the outfit. Now if your new let me know since I'll be playing during the week leading up to this event and I can help you with some basic loadouts and weapon ideas for you to work on.
Hopefully see a good turn out and lets have some fun.

THE MEDICAL SYSTEM, A RIFLEMAN'S GUIDE
This event will be aimed at non-medical personnel who want to get up to speed with the new system.
We will mainly be covering the new additions to the system alongside the changes to existing features, for example morphine
and how/when to use it. We will also be covering the absolute basics such as the activation of the medical menu, and what bandages
you should take as a rifleman, among other things. There will of course be time for questions at the end. This guide also includes most of what will be covered:
The event is scheduled to take 2 hours, however it may be shorter depending on how quickly we get through things.
The event will take place on FK1 Using the standard FK modset.
All attendees are to gather in the Medical training room on TS.
The event is open to everyone.
Attending this training does not give priority in slotting.

Rules/How To Play
The game mode is an homage to the traditional wave based Call Of Duty Zombies mode. There are wall weapons, perks, secrets, music, a mystery box plus some new things not seen last time. There is no points system, so new parts of the map will open up after a certain amount of waves. Your goal is to kill Zombies, survive waves and escape.
This is my smoothest and best Zombies mission so far. If you have played my last ones, I highly recommend coming back to see this one. I've spent 20+ hours crafting the mission and a further 10 or so bug fixing the server crash issue.

Overview
This training is aimed at people who are new to the FK. Doesn't matter if you're brand new to Arma or you have 500 hours under your belt but no experience with the mods we use.
Topics that will be covered:
How to join and make sure you can successfully join our servers What happens in the Main Mission and Off-hours rooms Slotting procedure and what happens in the spawn area ACE Arsenal - how to get yourself equipment you'll need ACE Interactions ACE Medical - Basic rifleman first aid Short Range Radio LAT introduction and overpressure BLUFOR vs OPFOR assets static showcase (if time allows) Rangefinding and working with map (if time allows) I also have two loadouts prepared for you, one for BLUFOR, one for OPFOR. They're meant as basic templates you can fall back to, change uniform and be ready to play.
The idea is that you will be able to go straight into a mission after the training and play as a rifleman.
This training does not earn you any tags or direct progress towards a Regular rank. But it will teach you how to play with us and therefore indirectly leads to both.

The best way of making sure you have exactly what you need is to click that "PRESET FILE" link, open your Arma 3 launcher, go to MODS section and import the file - it will auto-subscribe mods you need, start downloading them and create Mod Preset for FK. Then even if you're playing elsewhere and have hundreds of other mods you'll load only the correct ones.

HELL IN THE SKY
 
INTRODUCTION:
This mission is going to be a scripted mission and will be hosted on FK#4 using a custom modset. Anyone can reserve slots, regs+ and tagholders have priority. Disclaimer:
 - This mission uses the new AC-130 mod that was released recently as a public beta so bugs and glitches might happen.  

 
SITUATION:
Taliban forces captured two scientists a few weeks earlier.
We believe that they are forcing them to assist in the making of some sort of CBRN weapon.
We managed to find their possible location near Kalae Noowi, however further intel is required.
Your platoon was tasked with rescuing the scientists and investigating the CBRN threat.
 
OBJECTIVES:

Our boys have finally managed to achieve a sufficient breakthrough in Italy. The Italian government has collapsed and surrendered to us, and now we just have to push North and we'll be straight into the soft underbelly of Germany - we could win this war by Christmas! Your tasking is to secure a route of advance through the Italian hillsides while the rest of the Brigade re-organises further South. Today's objectives include the town of Oreokastro and it's nearby castle. Step-off as soon as you are ready.

Backstory:
We have had a foothold in this area for many months now, and our M.O.B is fully established. We have however had multiple reports of smoke plumes an heavy engine sounds in the forests to the north-east. We believe this to be a Russian supplied militia planning on raiding the local villages and town. We need to stop this before the civilian casualties become too much. We have provided you with CAS in the form of an AC130 Gunship, callsign "Warhammer". You have also been given transport in the form of 2x UH-60M's, callsign "Valkyrie". Already in the field are a small TACP team, who will be your main communication between Warhammer and the platoon.
